Heart Healthy Chicken Recipe-Steamed Chicken Wrapped in Lotus Leaf

Ingredients:

250g boneless chicken breast

2 lotus leaf,large

Seasoning A

1/2 cup mushroom, chopped

1 tablespoon scallion,chopped

1 tablespoon ginger,chopped

1 teaspoon rice wine

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Preparation:

1. Cut chicken breast into bite-size pieces.

Clean lotus leaf,cut into same size 10 pieces.

2. Mix chicken cubes with Seasoning A,stir well. Marinate for 10mins.

3. Divide the above chicken mixture into 10 same size. Arrange in the lotus leaves,wrap well.

4. Arrange the 10 packages in the drawer of a steamer, steam for 15-20mins.

5. Turn off heat, open the leaves, serve.

Serving Method(5 servings): Serve as main dish at lunch or dinner with steamed rice.
