Paprika Chicken
Ingredients:
1-3.5 pound chicken, cut to 8 pieces,
2 tablespoon oil, 1 onion, chopped,
1 tablespoon paprika,
2 tablespoons tomato paste,
1 teaspoon minced garlic,
salt and pepper to taste,
1/2 cup chicken stock.
Preparation:
In a large skillet, heat the oil and sear the chicken pieces. Transfer them in a roasting pan. In the same skillet, sauté the garlic and onion and add the paprika. When it bubbles, add the chicken stock and tomato puree and bring to a boil. Reduce slightly and pour over the chicken. Cook in a pre-heated oven at 450 F for about 25 minutes of until ready. At the end if the sauce is too thin, pour it in a pan and reduce it to the desired thickness.
